Terms of Service: The Portugal Bride Co. is a trade name (DBA) of PAISCLAYCO, L.L.C., a Michigan limited liability company. References to "we," "us," "our," or "The Portugal Bride Co." throughout this page refer to PAISCLAYCO, L.L.C. and its DBA The Portugal Bride Co. Our website istheportugalbrideco.com. Our registered address is in the State of Michigan, United States.
Acceptance of terms: By accessing this website, purchasing a digital product, or engaging any service offered by The Portugal Bride Co., you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or purchase our products or services.
Services and digital products: Consulting services À la carte services, including The Portugal Wedding Planning Audit, Venue Intel Report, Vendor Shortlist Report, and Venue Scouting Day are booked and confirmed by written agreement or invoice. Payment terms are outlined at the time of booking. Cancellation policies for each service are as follows: The Portugal Wedding Planning Audit: cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled call receive a full credit toward a future booking. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. Venue Intel Report, Vendor Shortlist Report: once work has commenced, no refund is issued. If work has not yet begun, a full refund is available within 24 hours of purchase. Venue Scouting Day: a 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled date receive a refund of the deposit minus a $75 administrative fee. Cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled date are non-refundable. Monthly Concierge engagements are governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties prior to commencement. The terms of that agreement supersede anything stated here in the event of a conflict. The general terms are: a minimum three-month commitment is required, the first month is payable upfront, and either party may end the engagement with 30 days written notice after the initial commitment period
Client responsibilities: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when completing intake forms, booking services, or communicating with us. The quality and accuracy of our research reports, shortlists, and recommendations depends on the information you provide. We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the client. You agree to make your own final decisions regarding vendor selection, venue booking, contract signing, and all other wedding-related commitments. Our role is advisory and research-based. We present options and information — you make the decisions.
What we do not provide: The Portugal Bride Co. does not provide:
Full wedding planning or creative direction
Legal advice of any kind
Financial or budget management services
Guarantee of vendor availability, pricing, or performance
Guarantee of venue availability or suitability
Immigration or visa advice
Any information provided relating to legal processes, visa requirements, or government procedures is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Always consult a qualified legal professional for advice specific to your situation.
Privacy Policy: We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:
Name and email address (when you subscribe to our email list or complete a contact form)
Name, email address, and payment information (when you purchase a product or service — payment processing is handled by third-party providers including Stripe, PayPal, and Etsy, and we do not store your payment details)
Information you provide in intake forms, consultation questionnaires, and planning documents shared with us in the course of a service engagement
We also collect non-personal data automatically through standard website analytics, including pages visited, time on site, and general geographic location. We use Squarespace Analytics and/or Google Analytics for this purpose.
